Website Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Who we are and what these terms cover

keymate.io is run by Keymate Inc., a Delaware corporation. These terms apply when you use this website, including the documentation at keymate.io/docs, its forms and its newsletter signup. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Agreeing to these terms is not consent to any use of your personal data. That is covered by our Privacy Policy and by the choices you make in the cookie banner.

These terms do not cover the Keymate product or our careers portal at careers.keymate.io. The product is provided under its own license or a separate agreement with us, and that document governs its use. If you have a license or agreement with us that also covers the documentation, that document applies where it differs from these terms.

Using the site

You may use the site for any lawful purpose. Please do not:

  • try to get around its security, or reach parts of it that are not public;
  • test it for security weaknesses without our written permission;
  • disrupt it, overload it, or send it harmful code;
  • request pages so fast that the site slows down for others;
  • send false information or another person's details through its forms;
  • suggest that you are Keymate or that we endorse you.

If you find a security weakness in the site, please report it to info@keymate.io and do not test it further.

Search engines and AI services may crawl and index the site, and use its content to answer questions, as our robots.txt file allows.

The site is meant for businesses and is not meant for children.

We may restrict or block access to the site for anyone who breaks these terms.

Content and trademarks

The text, images, design and code of this site belong to Keymate Inc. or are used with permission. Keymate and the Keymate logo are trademarks of Keymate Inc.

Keycloak, CNCF and Linux Foundation are trademarks of their owners, as are the other product and company names on this site. Naming them does not mean they endorse us.

You may quote short parts of the site if you name keymate.io as the source and link to the page. You may copy code samples and configuration examples from the documentation to use with Keymate. For anything more, ask us first.

If you think something on the site infringes your rights, write to info@keymate.io.

Information on the site

The site gives general information about Keymate and about identity and access management. Some pages describe features that are still being built. We update the site often, and it may change without notice. Nothing on the site is an offer or a commitment. What the product does, and on what terms, is set out in your license or agreement with us.

Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, such as GitHub, LinkedIn and X, and one blog post shows a YouTube video. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Feedback you send us

If you send us ideas or suggestions about the site or the product, we may use them freely, without paying you or naming you. This does not change how we handle your personal data, which our Privacy Policy describes. Please do not send us confidential information through the site's forms. If you need to share it, ask us for a non-disclosure agreement first.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Which cookies the site sets is described in our Cookie Policy.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

We provide the site as it is and as available. We do not promise that it is accurate, complete or always available.

The site is free. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data or business, that comes from using the site or relying on it. Our total liability to you for the site is limited to US$100.

These limits do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or to any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects the rights the law where you live gives you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. If you use the site for your business, any dispute about it goes to the state or federal courts in Delaware. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we update this page and the date at the top. Changes apply from that date and do not apply to anything that happened before it.

General

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term at once, we can still enforce it later. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. A separate license or agreement with us governs the product.
